2009 Result

Jamie Spencer rode Sariska to glory at the 2009 Oaks after a thrilling finish. Sariska, who was the 9/4  favourite in the Epsom Oaks Odds, narrowly beat the Henry Cecil owned horse Midday by a head. The win meant that Sariska became the first winner of the Musidora Stakes to go on and win the Oaks since 1997 when Henry Cecil's Reams Of Verse romped to victory. High Heeled, the 33/1 outsider, was impressive in third place.
