Aviate shot towards the top of the Epsom Oaks Odds with a crackingrun in the Musidora Stakes at York, she was impressive that day andcould be the one to beat at Epsom next month. In fact, she has won allthree of her starts so far so is yet to taste defeat on a track so hasto have a real chance of claiming th Oaks. Looks to be the best chancefor Henry Cecil for the Oaks and is hard to oppose following her win inthe Musidora.
Gertrude Bell
She has won two out of two for John Gosden this season with wins atNewbury and Chester to her name in prep for a big crack at the Oaks. Thewin at Chester was the big one with the Cheshire Oaks being taken byGertrude Bell in impressive fashion and on that form has to be takenseriously. Has been well backed for the Oaks as a result of that win atChester and she seems to be improving with every run so should go wellat Epsom.

Remember When
Not really on the Oaks radar until she was tipped up to do well byPricewise in the Racing Post and is now the talk of the betting. Herprice has been slashed as a result of that tip and could be an each/waybet if she continues to improve. Ran just the once this season for AidenO'Brien when third at Gowran Park in a decent field and looked ready toimprove. Will need to improve if she is to mix it with the favouritesin the betting but is not without a chance as Pricewise suggests.

Timepiece
Another live contender for Henry Cecil who until recently was thefavourite for the Oaks after an impressive season as a two-year old. Hasnot quite lived up to those expectations this year but has still shownenough class to be considered by punters here. Last time out she came insecond behind Dyna Waltz at the Lingfield Oaks trial when a big odds-onfavourite, she ran below expectations that day and that caused her todrift in the Oaks market but we feel she should come on for the run andcould go close.
